The Air Jordan 12 GS “Twist” is the youth sizing of Michael Jordan’s twelfth signature shoe in a colorway inspired by the Chicago Bulls’s team uniform colors. With its predominantly white-and-red color block, there is every reason to believe that had the “Twist” been included as part of Nike’s launch of the retro basketball shoe in 1997, “His Airness” would have worn the style on court with the Bulls. Design wise, the “Twist” features a white leather construction with contrasting University Red accents on the “Jumpman” plate on the white midsole and on the top eyelets. An embroidered black Jumpman is stitched onto the white leather tongue above the embroidered “Two 3” branding. The white pebbled leather mudguard brings a classic design element to the look of the “Twist.” Elsewhere, red “23” branding can be found on the back of the shoe below the “Jordan” detailing on the heel.
